Hey Surfers! I'm Haile ( HAH-LEE ) , and I am a student at Columbia College Chicago, currently residing on the North side of Chi. This is my third year in the city, and I've lived on three different sides of town (South, Downtown, and Northside). I'm a full-time student, and I also work for the school. I'm a pretty chill guy, who loves booze and herb ;-) . Come surf my couch and oh yeah! You'll get to meet my pet snake, SKULLY ! ( refer to my pictures, he's in there). COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed, but I hope to in the near future. I've had someone couchsurf at my place. It was awesome! Booze, Hookah, and Video Games

Interests

Music, Reading, Visual Arts, Partying, Philosophy, Psychology, Music Management, Radio, I can't dance... but I like to anyway. I love the outdoors, that's why i live a block from the beach, so when it's pretty decent outside that's where you can find me! I'm also into history, so I love exploring Chi neighborhoods and peeping out the architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll be very general with this, because these are 3 essentials to my survival. Movies - I'll watch anything from Chick Flicks to Indie Films
Music- I'll listen to anything... I own vinyls (with a record player) , and I also have the entire collection of the Billboard top 100 dating all the way back to the 50's.
Books- I rarely read newer books, I'm into the classics - Cat N' The Hat... Where's Waldo, Green Eggs N' Ham ... you know the good stuff! Jk

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Won Indiana Association of School Broadcaster's State Title ... TWICE!
- Recorded in a multimillion dollar studio ... for FREE!
- I've traveled to , Bahamas, Florida ( a million times) , Cali, NY , Ohio, Alabama, Atlanta, North Carolina, Michigan, Missouri , Mexico and I'm sure I'm forgetting some
- I got to hang out on Bruno Mars' tour bus
- Grammy U member
- Performed @ The Congress Theatre in front of 5,000, not as an opener!
- This year I was a Host for Rock The Vote in Chicago
- Met Russell Simmons and had a convo on meditation
- Was featured on Ruby Hornet, GoWhereHipHop.com , AEMMP Records , and in The Chicago Red Eye

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll give you a grand tour of Chicago, from the Foster beach to Hyde Park! If you're into music, I'll take you to a recording studio, and I'll also introduce you to my closest friends. I also love memories, so we'll definitly take some dope photo's for us both to have! (I have a ton of photography and fashion friends, considering I go to an art school... and I'm on of the 10 straight guys here xD)
