To make sure of the phenominal blessing I have obtained to live in Europe for the next 2 months, travel many places, meet people, and just live life

ABOUT ME

About me... I feel that most people can rarely be defined by a single stereotype. That is, one could clarify him/herself as a "jock, intellectual, artsy, etc", but that limits oneself to prejudice.

However, a rough prejudice is what is required, so I will do my best here. I am a fairly basic guy, id say. I am a recent graduate of the University of California, where I obtained my Masters Degree in Applied Economics and Finance. I have also enjoyed studying Mandarin Chinese for 2+ years, and spent last summer living in China.

I enjoy working out, studying things i'm interested in, meeting new people, romance, intellectual conversations, etc. My last quarter in California (march this year), I won an EU scholarship, which has placed me in France until mid august. I feel very blessed to have this opportunity, and look forward to traveling, meeting people, and just taking advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Christian, and, by that, i do not mean that I subscribe to the dogma that most religions require. Instead, I subscribe to the true definition of what it is to be a Christian; having a personal relationship with, and doing my best to follow, Jesus Christ. I am by no means perfect, and do not ever believe I can be. I just try to take each day as a gift, love people, enjoy my blessings, and try to better myself each day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up, and am looking for people to travel with, or couches to crash at during my travels. When I get home and established, I hope to be able to host travelers as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very little couchsurfing experience. I just signed up for this today.

Música, películas y libros

Movies-
So many kinds. Not necessarily one style or type, I feel all the genres, for the most part, have a few movies that I absolutely love. I enjoy a great romance, epic historic film, some horror, LOVE me some martial arts/Kung fu movies, suspense is legit, as are documentaries.

Books-
Same goes here. Anything of interest, of which usually includes physiology, video games, novels, fiction/non fiction. I really enjoy Kurt Vonnegut and Bruce Lee.

Music-
Same goes here. I might hear something from a genre and hate it, but hear another band and love it. Its always hit and miss. I do love me some progressive trance though, it is by far the most listened to music in my library.

I have seen many amazing things that have taken my breath away. Amazing things I have done? Hm...i'm not sure about that, I dont often think about things like that. I once struck out 13/18 batters in a baseball game (when I was like 14), and I still remember the feeling of the other coach coming to tell me how epic it was to watch! hahah thats about it.

Hmmm.... we can discuss Economics, or the global economic environment. Mandarin Chinese/culture is also something I am very interested in. I am a personal trainer, and would be glad to help instruct/create regiments for people to follow to get to their fitness goals. I have basic mechanical knowledge with cars/bikes and things of the sort. And I can love!
