HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a pretty laid back traveler...love to be open and flexible to whatever may come next and appreciate friendly accommodations that don't come with a giant price tag. I don't need a ton of hand-holding or guidance when I surf, but always appreciate learning about places from a local's perspective. I'm a very well-behaved house-guest, am clean, respectful and organized, and would love to help around the house in any way I can (dirty dishes included).

I originally wanted to host people at home in Seattle, but unfortunately have been unable to do that thus far. I very much look forward to being able to host once returning from my travels (Seattle is the 3rd best city in the US, according to me), but for now, am surfing only.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sky on an all-night road trip in Wyoming, pulled over for a break at 2am. My nephew 10 minutes after he was born. A mid-day sky blackening lightning storm at the Badlands...it felt like Mars. Jeff Magnum, performing songs over a decade old that I never thought I'd get to hear live and smiling at me after the encore. The view from the Pipila Monument in Guanajuato.
