To travel the world and find the best beach to call home.
After a couple years of wandering around the world, working in different cities and backpacking, I've settled down temporarily in Calgary while I'm returning to school to complete my degree (I'm on the home stretch!)
I've used couchsurfing a lot in the past, especially to make new friends and plan trips while living in China, but also to connect with different people as I traveled through southeast Asia for a year and through central America last spring.
My interests include the obvious like travel and adventure, but also photography, dance, writing, hiking and baking ... I love to bake!
My for-fun goals for 2015 include going sky-diving, learning a new type of dance, taking a road-trip to Vancouver and to explore Calgary (I've lived here for almost two years and I still feel like a newbie!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I try to meet new people in different cities I travel to, participate in group activities and surf with interesting hosts! I am always up for meeting up with people and exploring the city together.
Reading, writing, photography, Latin dancing, baking, gym, boxing, hiking, running and biking
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
...Visiting the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, hiking the Jiankou section of the Great Wall of China, riding on the back of a motorbike up the coast of Vietnam to see the sand dunes, surviving a poisonous snake bite in Ubud Indonesia, chowing down on Dim Sum in Hong Kong (the greatest city in the world!) ...
