ABOUT ME

I'm quiet and shy, at first, but can ramble a lot once I get going. I try to be kind and pleasant, and I mostly succeed. I'm geeky and love technology, but I also like going places and doing things, although I'm not a big partier or drinker.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by the "Beatles Philosophy":
All you need is love.
Let it be.

Interests

I like to read and learn about things. I love museums, historical sites, shows, concerts, and places with views. Currently, I love going into New York City and seeing a Broadway musical or taking a walk along the High Line. When I travel, I love to see places that are old and beautiful. I'm far more likely to visit a museum than a bar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a feminist geek. I love sci-fi and fantasy, especially if it has strong female characters. I also love musicals and animation. My current music is stuff from Adam Lambert, Glee, Led Zeppelin, Queen, and Josh Young, with some other stuff randomly thrown in there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Seeing the Grand Canyon when I was 12. I was young, but I remember being awed by the view.
2. Seeing the temple in Tulum, Mexico. It was a daytrip from a cruise with my family, but it was one of the prettiest places I've ever seen.
3. Going to the UK by myself. It was so exciting being on my own, with the freedom to go and do whatever I wanted to(within budget).
