I am a working male in my late 20s (ugh that sounds horrible). I am in the IT field but I've dabble in a little bit of everything throughout my life. I have normal work hours but sometimes I work from home depending on the week. I am free on most weekends. I was born in Vietnam but I immigrated to the US with my parents when I was very young. I was raised in Maryland and have lived here my whole life. I would say I'm pretty knowledgeable about the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I like to meet interesting people with interesting stories and experiences. I find that it is much harder to meet friends at my age besides from the workplace and the club/bar scene. I like to hang out with the friends I have but sometimes its nice to meet new people. I live by myself so it gets quiet and I don't' mind sharing my home once in awhile.

Interests

I love to watch/play sports. Soccer and volleyball would be my two favorite to play. I like to travel and eating out. I love trying new cuisines and restaurants so if you ever need a recommendation I would love to share my favorites spots in the area. I like to play video games as well when I have time. I am generally a very active person so hiking and biking are my regular activities when the weather permits it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost everything. Right now I would say my favorite genres are alternative rock, hip hop, and EDM. I watch anything that is action packed or funny. I don't really read much haha.
