About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and be happy

ABOUT ME

I am a social entrepreneur who is a photographer from Malaysia who would like to capture various culture and life through my lens. I have very high interest in exploring rural areas and their lifestyle when I travel and love to meet the local and live as how they do. I am easy going, can be funny at times. I am also into music and currently learning the India classical music. I have a social entreprise called GoodKids, where we help youth who are at risk of falling into social vices by teaching them performing arts

PHILOSOPHY

Live now, here, this moment

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used couchsurfing when I travelled around South East Asia and have since hosted the friends I made through couch surfing (my hosts) when they arrive in Malaysia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in at least 5 different hosts places and hosted about 3 people and regularly take couch surfers around to visit Malaysia

Interests

Largely on photography and music. Travelling allows me to explore these both extensively as I am able to learn cross cultural practices and music. Local and indigenous people usually have very interesting instruments and art exploration which entices me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Large interest in indian classical music and instrumental fusion. Read mostly literature and books on sociological awareness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I run a social enterprise and teach youth percussion using recycled items and stomping. Is that amazing or what!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to share my photography knowledge and skills. Also, able to teach basic classical music. Vice versa, anyone willing to teach western music (acoustic guitar) or local folk music, I am extremely interested.
