ABOUT ME

I was lucky to grow up with a Navy dad and got to spend time moving all over the world as a kid. Life's a bit more sedentary lately, but I'll never tire of meeting new people and going new places.

Interests

My main passion outside of my family is horses. I'm a classical dressage rider and a therapeutic riding instructor. I founded my own therapeutic riding program which I ran for 4 years until I merged it into another program last year. I teach people with emotional, physically, and mental disabilities to ride.

I'm also passionate about travel and other cultures. As a Navy brat, I grew up all over the place. I speak almost fluent French.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working with my students, I see little miracles every day. But specifically, I remember hearing one 6 year old boy with a vocabulary of only 10 words, speak the first new word he had learned in months. He asked his horse to "walk."
