About Me
My wife and I are traveling from Canada to South America in our self built VW van over the course of one year. We start in August 2016.
FIRST THINGS FIRST...WHAT ARE WE LIKE
We are an "easy to get along with" kind of couple. Talkative, spontaneous and very low maintenance. We have traveled a fair bit, including trips to Asia, and Africa. One thing that unites us, appart from being married to each other, is kitesurfing. We started 4 years ago and plan on doing lots of it on our upcomming trip :-)
LADIES FIRST
My wife is a 32yo primaryschool teacher. She is the grounded one in our relationship; always a little more careful and not as impulsive as I am. We are a good match :-)
MAN OF THE VAN
I am a 30yo surgeon currently loving the vanlife. I am talkative and impulsive, very sporty and always up for something fun. Does that make me look like a squirrel on caffein, who will never let you get a minutes rest. That is not true! I can be very quiet and sensitive, too :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In 2010 I started couchsurfing while on an interrail trip through europe and I was hooked from the start. The great people from all walks of life. There are no words to describe the fun I have had with fellow couchsurfers.
Now, as we are travelling in our van we just want to meet cool people, share stories, and have the most fun possible!!!
