ABOUT ME

I am a family man, married to my wonderful wife Christine and my two girls Jodie 11 and Samantha 9.My background is in the music industry and I currently export Australian talent worldwide to 5 star hotels and cruiseships. I am also a musician, guitar and vocals but I dabble in other instruments and used to make a living from playing music. I am involved in the Toastmasters network, a public speaking group and I give my own independant talks in Rotary clubs and various groups. I am keen on being green and we have a small permaculture garden which gives us a lot of great food. I love to watch things grow both in the garden and by mentoring and helping others.

I try to find the things that make me and my family fulfilled. Big believer in what you give out to the universe comes back. I get a lot out of helping people, coaching them and getting their lives on track

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Our intention is to travel Australia between April and June 2008. Although we dont have a spare room in our home, to give back to this community we will have a caravan available to host people in our back yard and of course we will participate in our guests' stay as much as possible if we can. There is also a lot of teaching and coaching I can do if wanted.

I like Arthouse and deep and meaningful stuff but occassionally quite happy to watch a shootemup or a bit of action. Can't be all one type though as I like stuff that means something but then I like things that are lightly entertaining when I need to destress

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became the national Toastmaster public speaking champion for Australia in my division last year. Speaking in front of a huge room of people and winning against the best speakers in the country was a fantastic feeling. Of course seeing my two children born and getting married was also incredible

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar and singing. I can help someone make a living out of playing music if they want to. I can teach musical performance and stagecraft and I can also help people who want to learn to do public speaking. I can coach people and help them with their weight management and motivation.
