getting my Korean students to appreciate me for more than just the candy I sometimes hand out! Oh, and also wedding planning while 8,000 miles away from home, enjoying where I live for the next 16 months, and planning for our big adventure in 2013. phew!
My fiance and I are Mainers who decided after college to live abroad. We landed in South Korea, and have been teaching for almost two years. We're avid hikers and we love to camp. On the weekends and holidays we are always off exploring sights around Korea and beyond. During our vacations we take the chance to travel around Asia and have been to China, Mongolia and Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia with further trips planned in the future.
Put everything into perspective, that's my philosophy. when I stop and truly think about what is going on in the world and how I come into play, I usually end up taking a middle path, Buddhist approach.
