CURRENT MISSION

Visiting Shichuan and in special the Giant Panda Base in Chengu. After seeing and admiring these beautifull animals I am still considering: going north or.. going west in the provence. Maybe you could point me in a right direction :).

ABOUT ME

A funny, lively girl. Curious to, and not very judgemental. A real enjoyer of life. Into good conversations, exploring nature and also the benefits that life can bring. I work at a bank an din my spare time I am what you would caal 'the creative type', i sing, try to learn playing the guitar and sketch. Also, I make little puppets out of wool, they give me great pleasure. Next to the creative things, I do sports (fitness and spinning) and often hang out with friends. Once every while, in the weekends, I go outdoor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started out Couchsurfing, filling in my profile. I have a good couch available where you are more than welcome to stay the night. Also, if you are interested in knowing a bit more about Arnhem we can surely get together for an informal tour.
I myself am planning a trip to Chengdu China, and would love to meet a local to really get into Sichuan-life.

Interests

My interests are on the enviromental part of society. I not only a vegetarian but also bought of my entire journey to china with CO2 certificates. Ofcourse there are more interests, such as family, friends, nature itself and enjoying it, eating nice food and taking hot baths, but I'm sure everybody likes to do nice things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading Haruki Murakami, but I'll read anything that comes into my hands. Also music is very diverse. I recently found out Townes van Zandt, one of the first singer/songwriters, but I am also a huge fan of rock or other energizing music such as The Mars Volta, can really enjoy that. Huge fan of Radiohead. But also classic and electronical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing a section of the Great Wall and spending the night there. It was amazing waking up in that little watchtower and seeing that all that climbing was worth it.
