Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Throughout my travel experiences, I've realized that visiting people is just as important and interesting as seeing the sights. Couchsurfing is a great way to both see and experience the local lifestyle. Not to mention travelers are always good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm always looking for new music suggestions, but for now usually listen to indie rock and jazz. I play a bit of guitar and sing, so I'm always up for a jam session!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood above a sea of clouds while climbing mountains Skuta and Prehodavci in the Slovenian Kamnik-Savinja and Julian Alps.

Slept under the stars (and a really big sandstone boulder) in Sächsische Schweiz.

Walked the Camino a Chapi, following thousands of people on foot at nighttime carrying only lanterns and candles from Arequipa to the statue of the Virgin in Chapi, in Peru.

Capsized a sailboat multiple times in Lake Michigan during sailing practice (don't worry, I'm much better at crewing now).

Rode the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail and found one of the best lookouts from the coast of Lake Michigan.
