About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and learn

ABOUT ME

I'm always interested in learning new things and meeting new people. Sometimes I seem shy at first, but that's just me initially taking it all in. I'm very calm and laid back, but once I've warmed up to someone new, I am told that I'm very hilarious. I'm also very friendly and respectful of others, enjoy a good conversation, and believe in direct communication.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others the way you would want to be treated.

Interests

Adventures! Trying new things! Seriously, I made an effort to keep track of doing at least one new thing every day for over a year. Traveling and site seeing, especially scenic places so I can take photos, Art, languages, vegetarian food, outdoor activities, listening to music from around the world, many more interests in things unique, cultural, or new. I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories and ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many types of music I'm interested in! Too many to name! Basically anything that sounds different and new will catch my interest. I really love live music, too.

I used to read quite a lot. Lately, I've been busy with other things and haven't taken the time to sit down and read a book. Once in a while I do. The last few fiction books I read were The Messenger by Markus Zusak, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen, and that was before the movies came out.
I don't really have favorite movies that I re-watch, but I like drama, suspense, and some comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent the night talking with new friends out on the rocks by the water in Monterosso Al Mare in Italy and witnessed them see falling stars for the first time.
