About Me
Hi everyone :)
My name is Kristin, and I live in Regensburg where I study medicine at the university.
In my free time, I like to read, watch TV shows, learn foreign languages and, of course, travel! I'm also into sports: I did karate for about 6 years before I moved to Regensburg, but couldn't find a good opportunity to continue here. Still, I go to training every now and then when I visit my parents. And I have started dancing standard and latin in a club here a few months ago.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and get to know people from all over the world. I don't think there's a better travelling experience than staying with someone from the place who can tell and show you things about where they live.
In return, I would like to host people, too, but it's difficult since I live in a very small apartment. Once I move to a bigger one, though, I'm determined to return all the favors!

Music, Movies, and Books
music: Nightwish, Sara Bareilles, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Hozier, ...
movies: I don't know a lot of movies :/
books: Currently reading the A Game of Thrones series (I don't know why I waited that long). I love fantasy books and will devour every one of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, I've been on a "professional exchange" to Spain, where I worked in the hospital for a month. Also, there were other incomings from all over the world. So, in this short amount of time, I learned about medicine, different cultures and different places. It's definitely a month to remember and I'd love to repeat the experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
German food and beer, of course. And interesting conversations about a lot of different topics - if you're up to it.
