***While I'm new to Couchsurfing as a surfer I have 2 cousins and a close friend who are very practiced couchsurfers who are on couchsurfing and willing to vouch for me. :-) ***

I actually use to host Couch-surfers before but removed my account when my living situation changed. Now I'm about to start (couch) surfing myself which I have never done, and am very excited about. I love the idea of coming together with new people in an kind and open way. I think it's a wonderful way to meet new people and explore the world.
