About Me

CURRENT MISSION

being useless, at least for now

ABOUT ME

I´m going to study social works, so logically, I´m supposed to be a nice guy (most of the time, I am :D).

down to earth (clichéd statement, true), always interested in aquiring useless and weird knowledge, easy to get along with, strange yet likeable sense of humor (at least I hope it´s likeable) we should get along as long as you´re not a party-pooper (I love that word).

PHILOSOPHY

I don´t want to look back and realise that I missed out on something. kind of dramatic, but true

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

surfing, hosting (as long as you want to sleep on a couch in the rural area surrounding nuremberg, be my guest :D), making sure nobody gets bored

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

while travelling through GB and Ireland, we had the chance to stay with some nice hosts, which was awesome. its great to meet interesting new people!

Interests

meeting nice people, music (listening and also making by playing the guitar in an acceptable way), awesome movies, nature, reading smart stuff, visiting places, reading stupid stuff, drinking, eating, coffee (and lots of it); just doing things that are fun general

Music, Movies & Books

movies: star wars, of course (old trilogy, of course) quentin tarantino in general the big lebowski fight club donnie darko in bruges

music: mostly stuff with guitars. lately, I´ve been dabbling with electronic music, and so far it´s been good (bands I really enjoy: portugal. the man, the black keys, crystal fighters, the mars volta, bon iver, bomb the music industry!, lcd soundsystem, led zeppelin, and others)

books: sadly, I didn´t have the time/motivation to read books lately, but that´s going to change soon books i really like: the alchemist (coelho), das brot der frühen jahre (böll), the corrections (franzen), atonement (mcewan) in order for me to tell you my favourite book of all time, you have to let me sleep on your couch first (our little trade) because it´s kind of embarrassing for a guy my age

One Amazing Thing I've Done

The inside of the cheops pyramid was awesome. Been to most northliest (?!) place in europe (north kap). Whale-watching in washington state (so cool) and visiting kurt cobain´s cozy little hang-out park in seattle.

Teach, Learn, Share

teach: german language and how to act like a stereotypical german^^. I´m also great in recommending music without being asked to do so

learn: everything you are willing to show me!

share: stories
