ABOUT ME
Hi there, my name is Jean-Michel Pichette. I am 25 years old and super tall (6f4i). I enjoy anything from frisbee in the park to an afternoon in a museum. (mostly because some exhibits are free and they have a/c). I sing from morning to night and that's not negotiable. I enjoy learning about all kinds of stuff. I like everything so i'm very easy to get along with.
PHILOSOPHY
If you are out of beer... there is always strong liquor in the cabinet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The world is a small place but nowadays it seems that it is getting smaller and smaller. Fortunately, couches are magical instruments, the equals of flying carpets or an enchanted bark-canoe (Québec folklore). Couches can bring you to another country without travelling and you always know that somewhere there is an empty couch just waiting to take you on a fantastic journey.
Like I said, the world is a small place, and it's like this. I would really like to see my neighbours, if it's just once. Ask him how he's doing, what are his concerns, his joys. Basically, just get to know him.
The funny thing though is that... once I get to know him... I notice that he's not so different from me, he shares my concerns,... my joy. Why was I so afraid to meet him in the first place?
The moral of the story is... we must not be afraid to travel and meet new people, learn new things, experience new things, get a different perspective on some things. Couchsurfing allows you to build on the idea that it's fun to explore and meet new people and it's bleeping convenient! Get to know your neighbour and this small world of ours will definetly be a a great place to live!
