Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to the CS Project, so as a start I will surf to visit a lot of different places and meet interesting people. Later, when my situation becomes stable, I plan to offer a couch for likely-minded fellows.

Also, I hope to find some time to help with the CS website as this is my main area of expertise.

Interests

First of all sports and activities. I love to play football and tennis. Since last year, I have been also practising martial arts.

In my free time I like to read fantasy books (recently "Sword of Thruth" series) and learn new things about entrepreneurship. I also love films and TV series, most notably from Sci-Fi genre.

Books: "Silmarillion", "The Lord of the Rings", "The Sword of Truth" series, "A Song of Ice and Fire" series and various leadership books...

Movies: "Stargate", "Battlestar Gallactica", "House MD", "How I met your mother", "Forest Gump", "Fight Club", all Tarantino movies.

Music (various): Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Linkin Park etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many things to lists here, too few to be proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach, to some degree:
- Polish language;
- basic and advanced Computer Science stuff;
- martial arts (Kung Fu).

I want to learn:
- more about martial arts;
- how to cook delicious meals;
- new languages;
- how to run a successful start-up;
- about foreign cultures (people, customs etc.);

I can and want to share:
- thoughts about the world;
- experiences and interesting stories.
