About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find beauty in everything and keep laughing

ABOUT ME

I dig meeting people, random adventures, laughing and going with the wind. I love riding bikes, being outside, drinking coffee/teas/beers, slacklining, running around, drumming, and being a goof. I live in Chicago where I make money driving a pedicab, teaching music or just doing whatever. Always looking to hang in beautiful places, sleep under the stars, and learn something.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to take advantage of the life we have been given while making it better for the rest of us. We got one world and it better be great!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and hang out in Chicago these days and LOVE IT. In the past, I've done a fair share of surfing while in France and Spain and have hosted a bit in Honduras.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oh man, I have so many awesome couchsurfing memories... riding bikes in Chicago, teatro de la calle in Seville, authentic 10 course French dinner in Bordeaux, 5 hour tour of Paris, teaching people to beat box on roof tops in Toledo, Spain... ohh, I love this community!!

Interests

I like drumming, saxophone, meditation juggling, biking, breakdancing (top rock, really), beatboxing, eating, cooking and the sun.

Music, Movies & Books

I´ve been reading a lot of about Buddhism lately and find it fascinating. Social injustices also fuel my fire so I try to read about those and love good documentaries. The God of Small Things is also an amazing book and Mrs Roy took me for a ride with her language. Woah. Also, this Chilean movie called Machuca is awesome.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I've witnessed coffee farmers in Honduras survive. With so little support and resources. They're absolutely inspirational.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I do know some basic breakdancing moves that we could stay up all night doing. Juggling, guitar, saxophone and didgeridoo come in the package. If we're hungry and don't have any meat, I can make some mad vegetarian/vegan dishes, no recipes needed.

Countries I've Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In

Chile, Honduras, United States
