About Me
ABOUT ME
I have been living in Guiana since august 2009. I had been bewitched by this land some years before, as I travelled here as a tourist. Beside the appearances, there is a great diversity of original human cultures to discover in this poorly known country, all of them being tightly linked to the omnipresent equatorial forest, fascinating universe inhabitated by an infinity of vegetal and animal entities, incarnated in so diverse and offen unexpected plastic creations, whose inventory still remains a challenge. I sometimes walk all a day long into the forest, and my pleasure is still as strong as it was the first days. I also need my daily quantity of culture to feel good, and my favorite mediums are the books. I cannot imagine to live without books. I actually live with my son who is 13 years old.
PHILOSOPHY
Difficult to resume in some words, but in perfect agreement with CS'one!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are four persons living in a pleasant house near Cayenne. There is a sofa with a good mattres in the living-room, large enough for a couple.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I recently received my first guests here in Cayenne. Both experiences were entirely positive from my point of view. I hope my guests share it!
Interests
travelling, whith actually a special interest for South America countries. I take advantage of my stay in Guyana to display activities in full nature: walking, sailing, fishing, watching butterflies, reading, cooking, being with friends, etc. But I also try to keep connected with the rest of the world!
