Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had an Erasmus+ project in Croatia and I wanted to arrive a little bit early in that beautiful country to have a look around and dig into the details of the capital, Zagreb. I was accepted by a couple as a guest on CS and my host told me to sit down behind the main statue in city center - it was not hard to find only one statue in Zagreb :) - I sat down for maybe hours but nobody showed up. The minute I was starting to get worried, my kind host arrived and took me to their home. Before I came to Zagreb, I had already told her buy some stuff for a special Turkish breakfast, and she did! When I woke up, they told me they have all the stuff for "menemen", which is a local food in Turkey. Tomatoes, pepper, onion, oil and some bread - eveything at once. I prepare two portions of menemen and we have finished in seconds because it was delicious -not because I prepared but because I was hungry :)- That day, I had to lead for my project venue and the hospitable couple gave me a lift to the train station, where I met my other Turkish friends. Time has passed by, and my host contacted my on CS again saying that she has been to Turkey after I visited Zagreb and she had a chance to eat some menemen somewhere in Turkey and she liked mine most because it was the best. Hearing that, I was very touchy and you cannot know how happy I felt to be a part of CS and have such unforgettable experience! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Action, drama and adventure! Films with these themes drive me crazy and I cannot help watching them. I am also interested in wathcing series and my favourite so far is "Perception" which is based on seeing events from an unusual perspective. I also follow "Forever" which is based on the life of a doctor with unlimited time span of life.
I cannot say I love reading loooong books but I daily read some informative articles on different web sites and these texts give me an insight into understanding the local and global happenings.
I love listening to instrumental music as it gives me a inner peace and rest.
