About Me

I am about to start as a personal coach, after 27 years in pharmaceutical industry, where I lead pharmaceutical development teams

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After retiring from my industry job, I want to focus on things I have
neglected in the past. First of all traveling, keeping connections with old friends and making connections with new people. I love to cook and traveling through the world always means traveling through the kitchens of the countries I visit. The best souvenir to take home are new friends and good recipes from their homes.
I strongly believe, that we can create a wold in peace, if we get to know each other better and learn to accept and value different views.

I love Jazz music, traveling, cooking, reading good books. I am a passionate coach for people who want to take difficult decisions, want to find their way in live, want to do what really makes them happy. I enjoy hiking through the nature.
I love painting and designing and may restart after 35 years without a paintbrush in my hands.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, Rock and singer songwriters, Italian, Portugese, Irish and Spanish folk music
and more.
I love to watch ballet dancing (the Basel ballet company and the Ballet Béjard from Lausanne are my favorites).
I do like classical music but have not taken the time to listen to it in the recent past. I like independent movies, e.g. French, German, Swiss
Now that I have more time on my hands I will do much more reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A trip through China in 1987, with only two nights booked in a hotel in Beijing and then the forward flight from Hongkong to Singapore. All the rest was improvisation, using hands and feet for conversations and all means of transportation to get to Hongkong.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn Italian, Spanish, plying a Saxophone, painting and designing
