About Me

Although my turkish name translates to "Holy Moon", i somehow still enjoy sunny days most. One cannot grasp the feeling of warm sunrays on your skin, the same feeling which occurs when you are in a good mood hanging out with awesome people and spending a great time.
I have just finished school and qualified for university entrance, however didn't start studying yet because the adventure of travelling the world captured my imagination.
Not only do i intend to see as much as possible but also to make the most of this time by making memories worth to remember for my whole life. I imagine telling my grandkids about my time in australia while sitting in a swing chair and running my fingers through my (hopefully) mighty grey beard and seeing the excitement sparkling in their eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only would i like to meet the people of the regions i am currently staying in but to experience some crazy and interesting stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I somehow appreciate every type of music- besides schlager! If you try to force me to listen to schlager, i can't guarantee anything.
Besides that i'm currently not that much of a reader but more of a listener. I have a variety of audiobooks on my list to tick off, mostly classical literature and popular books. Being interested in philosophy and history is a reason why so much of the stuff falls under these categories.
Although i barely watch TV, compelling movies which you think about even after some time has passed or evoke strong emotions are the ones i enjoy.
Quentin Tarantino is a name which has to be brought up here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life itself should be a sufficient answer here as it provides, day for day, endless opportunities to experience, learn and appreciate. However, i have made several experiences worth memorizing. There was a private pupil i had been tutoring for a while and together with my help he passed his classes. I've also built an entire electrical oud from scratch.
