To live in the beauty of the human experience
**IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING VERIFIED. WAITING FOR MY POSTCARD TO GET HERE!** :)I'm a full time student, full time hospital employee down here in Tampa, FL. I live really close to beaches, museums, downtown, SoHo, and the world's longest (most beautiful) continuous sidewalk for all the runners/walkers out there! I live steps (literally) away from the ocean and in the next year I'm looking to travel more and become more acquainted with the world beyond the realm of south Florida. I'm very open-minded and tolerant of people, and would like to experience everything the world has to offer!
just be nice and love everybody. This world is soooo amazing and if we all could just love and respect one another...we could change it from the turmoil it faces.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm willing to host anyone really, as long as they don't mind a cat in the house. She's EXTREMELY sociable and friendly...almost to a fault, haha. I'm also looking to branch out and surf around. I'm pretty knowledgable in the Tampa Bay area, so I like to think I'd be a pretty good tour guide/host :)I believe in people. I like to think we're all here to be together and enrich each other's lives. I've seen the worst in people, and greeted it with compassion in hopes that they turn that frown upside-down, haha. I think everyone has the potential to be amazing and wonderful and a teacher in their own way! I really hope to be the change I want in this world and start by opening up the doors of my home and saying "hey world, come on in...and while you're at it, sleep on my couch!" :)
None as of yet, however my dad has hosted a few international travelers and I thought it was such a cool gesture that I couldn't wait to try myself. My parents have really taught me to be open-minded and accepting, and now I think it's a great time to put that to good use!
I like anything really, anywhere with people, music, maybe a drink or two, and some good food! Clearly, traveling fits the bill here too!I also LOVE starbucks! I'm a coffee/tea girl all the way!

Pride + Prejudice, Due Date, The Hangover, Monty Python, Robin Hood Men in Tights...anything with Jim Carrey or Steve Carrell (sp??)Books: Philippa Gregory series, Twilight series (again with the LAME!) Eat, Pray, Love; lipstick Jungle, Committed, anything with an intriguing storyline. I actually love to read!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan one summer...and had a GREAT time! I have a huge respect for asian/pacific island culture...and food!!! YUM!Tough Mudder-- 12 miles of rugged terrain with 28 obstacles (jumping 20 feet into water with ice cubes in it, climbing up 20+ft cargo nets, hurling myself over 12ft "Berlin Walls", running through dangling live wires with 10,000 volts of electricity surging through them....) YA....I survived that! It's a race that focuses on team-building and working together/helping each other. It taught me to allow myself to be helped by others :) especially those 12 ft walls and having cramping calves, haaha.Joining couchsurfing.org :P (duh!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I dabble in the Spanish language, but I have a few really cultured friends who speak Arabic, Italian, French, German, and Spanish--all fluently. I also work in a pharmacy/healthcare so I'm handy if you bump you head or something, lol. I like to think I'm trendy to an extent, so I keep up with the "happenings" of the area. I also love politics/economics/studying social issues.....I hope to change the world one day.
