An interesting question; I tend to not gauge my actions based on how benevolent or generous they may be, as I find by gauging an action based on benevolence the individual is falling into an metaphysical economic mindset where they expect some form of compensation for their benevolence, such as recognition, compensation, or gifts.

Being a guest within one's dwelling, I would share my ideas, culture, and understanding of the world, while respecting the host(s) understanding of said matters, as I do not travel to participate in the 'cultural olympics', for lack of a better term.

Of course, if there is anything the host wishes for me to share and assist them with, I will be more than happy to oblige.
