Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try to stay with locals when I travel to take in the culture and meet new people! When I don't know someone in the area, I prefer couchsurfing or Airbnb over hotels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once got chased by a stampede of 300 goats through an abandoned French village.
I've lived in 8 places in 5 different states within the past two years.
I've taught two adults to swim, they both swim better than me now.

I love to teach and learn about the world around me!

I can teach about science and engineering, I love to discuss it with others who are also interested in the natural world. I've taught some English some in the past.

I like to cook, and I love to share foods and recipes with people. I also like to discuss books, movies, and art. I'm no expert in any of these, but I do enjoy them!
