I'm all about learning, improving, and giving more than I get. I want to travel as much as possible and connect with as many people as possible. I have an open-ended account where I will switch between "accepting" and "not accepting" guests simply based upon my availability. I hope that my good hosting will pay dividends when I make trips around the world so that I can meet up with experienced residents.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Reddit sent me here! I'm making myself available in the hopes that I make friends with the global community. Having spent five years in Eugene, and being a short-term Portland resident - I know quite a bit about Oregon, and can point visitors to the sweet spots. I'm also from southern California and can give any southward road-trippers a lot of advice. I aim to be a great, memorable host because that's all I could hope for from my future potential hosts.
Music is a huge part of my life. If there's a concert in town that we can both enjoy - let's do it! I also love to discuss economics, politics, technology, and most sci-fi topics. I'm a massive Arsenal fan and - being a student at the University of Oregon - I'm a huge Oregon Duck fan. I also love what I do professionally! I frequently attend "hackathons" and coding meet-ups.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste: www.last.fm/users/duskykmh
Ten of my favorite movies in no particular order: Children of Men, The Martian, Interstellar, Star Wars Episode 7, Big Hero 6, Saving Private Ryan, The King's Speech, Best In Show, When Harry Met Sally, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Good Will Hunting
I'm not much of a reader with the exception of childhood series' like Artemis Fowl and Cirque du Freak.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went "zorbing" in New Zealand! It's like being in a human hamster ball and I highly recommend it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook a few Cuban meals. I've also got a lot to share with you if you're interested in learning about web development or software engineering.
I love learning in general, so I'll withhold typing anything specific.
I am more than willing to share my music and my booze.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a couch surfer, I am humbled for being offered a place to stay. I will make dinner every night and do all the dishes while I'm at your home. I also have quite a bit of music that I can share with you. I know beer palettes pretty well and after asking you a few questions, I can try to buy you a new favorite beer!
