About Me

I don't get as much time to travel as I would like due to a normal job in Fujinomiya JP and also having a business to manage online. When I do travel, I like catching very local experiences beyond just seeing the normal tourist attractions. An example, my first trip to Tokyo in 2013 I came with no plan, no hotel, and not much money - a kind of personal challenge you could say. Once I learned everything died at 10pm, I spent the night in a sex DVD shop - a real 5-star experience for someone who has never been, let me tell you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not good at meeting people in foreign countries, mostly because I have no way to know who can speak English or who wants to talk to some foreign guy like me. As a result, I keep to myself a lot and try not to "bother" people. But CS seems pretty easy for meeting people who actually want to meet since having an ad here is basically advertising for company. I hope to have some unique experiences through CS, and maybe have a few adventures that are not alone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in learning most things. Last thing I learned was how to make Katsudon; maybe I could learn to make some special Japanese food in the future.

As for my skills, well i know how to cook some awesome American food. I'm ok with a camera, and I guess I'm good at helping others with English. Its more my personality that I have a collection of skills that I know a little but not many things I know well enough to either earn money with or call myself sensei.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be pretty chatty and entertaining with the right people. I don't drink or smoke though, so not much for party scene. I do know how to cook pretty well if your kitchen has a few things. I taught myself when I lived in China and now in Japan: specialities are pizzas and burgers (real american cuisine).
