About Me

ABOUT ME

I've been lucky enough to spend most of my life traveling. I've actually spent most of my life overseas in South Korea, Japan, and United Kingdom, which makes the whole "Where are you from?" question really difficult to answer. Consequently, I've always had the wanderlust and am constantly searching for new adventures and experiences. I'm a pretty easy-going, open-minded, and accommodating guy who looks forward to whatever the future might have in store.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Gotta give a place to get a place.

Interests

I'm really interested in film making and writing. I'm also a pretty voracious reader usually.

I'm a decent athlete who loves to swim, but running or biking will do in a pinch.

And I'm always up for hiking, camping, and fishing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The final trip for my college's Outdoor Club was a section of the Vermont Long Trail. One morning, my group, which had some first-time hikers in it, awoke to find 2 feet of snow on the ground. In the middle of October. At one point during this hike, we decided to climb to the top of a forest fire watchtower. I'll never forget scaling this thing, gripping the railing so I wouldn't fall over, and reaching the top to see the whole expanse, as far as I could see, covered in snow.

And I'll never forget making my way down the mountain and feeling the snow change to rain, uncovering that famous New England red, orange, and yellow autumn foliage. I've always enjoyed hiking, but this bit stands out as both the hardest and the most rewarding trek I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're interested and we have time, I'm always up for helping people with filming and editing. It's actually a lot of fun!
