I'm a 20 year-old, left-handed female who can play the clarinet and bassoon, and I have a knack for cooling down arguments by using laughter and jokes while being an all-around awesome person. I used to be on the swim team and have vowed to buy a mermaid tail from the mertailer so I can freak lake swimmers out. While nerdy is not my middle name, it is a word that definitely defines me, and I'm okay with that. I do not drink alcohol, do drugs or smoke anything as I prefer to be the sober one for my friends. Having a clear head is something I enjoy.
I'm a quiet, polite and extremely empathetic person who can easily make people of all backgrounds and ages feel comfortable around me. I'm a social person when I need to be, but prefer hanging out with a couple good friends rather than engaging in a large party situation.

While I would love to host, I, unfortunately, cannot. I think there is a wonderful movement though, of people wanting to build relationships with people while travelling, and I think this form is wonderful.

Intereses

I enjoy reading, writing, researching about animals, learning about "greener" ways of living, listening to music, driving, riding my bike, swimming, watching scary movies and hanging out with friends. I really like learning about nature and biology and really any life science so if you've got something to share, I'd be happy to listen! I'm also a collector of stories, so if you have a tale to tell, I've got an ear to lend.

Música, películas y libros

Sublime, Foo Fighters, Five Finger Death Punch, Vampire Weekend, Panic at the Disco, Of Monsters And Men, X Ambassadors, Green Day, Imagine Dragons and Breaking Benjamin, and then I love a whole lot of other bands but I don't have enough patience to type them out!

Movies = anything w/o more than one explosion. It's just cliche and dumb. I can't handle it! I also love rom coms, SOME comedy, horror and sci-fi/thriller and classics. Plus, any movie with Robin Williams or Tom Hanks is amazing. I also love kid's movies. The ones nowadays aren't as good as the classics in my mind (Frozen vs. The Hunchback of Notre Dame...).

Books = anything with dragons. Literally, anything. I also like mysteries and SOMETIMES enjoy a good ol' biography (depending on whose life it's about). But fantasy/fiction is where it's at.

Only one? Well, I learned to play the bassoon in only about 3 months and sounded better than the kid next to me who had been playing it for a few years.

I like to clean (whether it be a kitchen or a dog) and can make a mean batch of brookies. Brownies + cookies = Brookies. Let's just say that it's not very healthy.
