About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to stay present

ABOUT ME

I'm visiting Tallinn until June. Though Estonian is my first language, I was born and raised in New York City, moving just about everywhere thereafter. No single place feels quite like home — which means I can make myself at home anywhere! Aside from travel, though, I'm presently staying put in NYC long enough to build something. As for travel, I'm hoping to make some Estonian friends so I have more connections to my fatherland than a single family member and a handful of childhood memories.

What I'm all about: writing, editing, philosophizing, storytelling.

I'm a good, hard woman — neither "nice" nor "dangerous."

PHILOSOPHY

A good journey always ends with a beginning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was amazing to reach my goal of trekking to Everest Base Camp — in a blizzard, no less! Though the weather obscured the view, the extreme conditions really heightened the sense of accomplishment.

I can write, draw, and sing.
We can discuss opera, Greek mythology, and social justice, among other things.
