Experience the world
Like most of the people on this website, I love traveling, experiencing different things, talking about culture differences, learning languages,...
But I believe that the most important thing, wherever you are, traveling or not, is the people you spend your time with, because THEY make the difference.
I try to be open on everything I see, everyone I meet, because you never know what you can discover there. My aim is to spend as less time as I can in my house, and go out to not miss any thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I take part of this project by bringing myself in the events organized with an open mind!
Most of the things I've done was going to the CS events, in Shanghai, in Hong Kong and in Melbourne so far. Thanks to that, I met lovely people, and never felt alone in a city where I knew nobody when I arrived!
I like sightseeing, but I love to do it with a local who can give details about the buildings, about the stories of their city.
Then, I love meeting with friends for a coffee or drinks, enjoy the good company and a funny chat. I also like sports a lot (volley ball - windsurf - ski), or food ! Learning how to cook international dishes is something I really enjoy, then I can also teach a bit of what I know!
Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite band is The Knife, swedish group.
Best book is a french one : le hérisson by Muriel Barbery.
My best movie is Italian : La vita bella.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked in camps for children living in orphanages, or for disable people. I've everything to be happy in my own life, and it is hard to accept that some people miss things so important like a family. So helping them to spend good holidays and have amazing memories was something really big for me to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am quite amazed by languages. Learning languages became kind of addictive, and I would love to really reach a good level in the languages I already started to learn : english / spanish / mandarin.
And I would love to teach french too.
Then as I told before, I love learning how to cook different food, and I would love to give back my knowledge, even if i'm not really good - I still know some tips.
