ABOUT ME

I live alone, well almost, because in reality there is often someone at home: I regularly hosts students (one at a time!) attending the University of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (but there is still a room for you). My daughter and her boyfriend spend also a few days here occasionally.
When I am travelling, I like to take time to immerse myself in the place I am. I love big cities and lost villages, endless roads and small trails, the edges of lakes, mountainsâ

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new on this site so I have no experience with it. However, I sometimes had the opportunity to do “unorganized couchsurfing” in my travels.

Interessi

I love art, especially contemporary dance, literature and painting.
Obviously I love to travel (except guided tours!) and to meet people from all backgrounds. (Otherwise, what would I do on couchsurfing?)
I sing in a choir (mainly French song) and I am also part of another choir that participates annually in a show scheduled at the theater of Saint-Quentin en Yvelines.
I also do collage, but not enough due to time!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

In Iceland, when I bathed in a natural hot pool in the middle of a desert: There wasn’t any vegetation except for a ring of lush vegetation that had formed around the hot pool thanks to the hot water. There was even a bird's nest with the whole family in! I have enjoyed this moment of pure happiness with a glass of very good wine. It was magical! Just a little cold when leaving the water!
