ABOUT ME

I really love DOING things. I'm into nature activities in a big way - hiking, camping, snowboarding, rafting, hang-gliding I would take every opportunity to do. I'm currently living in Berlin, and while the city is unquestionably unique in social life, it's seriously lacking in nature. A few mountains here and there wouldn't go astray. I'm also really into nature conservation and sustainable living, and would love to start working in that sector. At the moment I do volunteer graphic design for environmental groups trying to get their message out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some incredibly warm and inviting people. Couchsurfers aren't the standard type of people you meet at the office. They have this open quality to their personalities which makes them explorative and interesting and eager to learn and experience new things.

Interests

Aside from that stated above, I spend a lot of my time at home drawing. I specialize more in digital art with either a comic or fantasy or sci-fi theme.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through the wild Andes in Colombia. I did a 6 day trek with my boyfriend and we were almost the only people out there. The one thing that stuck with me was the night sky while we were camping. I haven't seen anything like it. We were so removed from civilization, the stars just exploded into blanket of shimmering lights. Looking up at those stars I could just imagine how philosophers in ancient Greece would stare at them in wonder and contemplate the meaning of the universe. Truly awe-inspiring and I intend to go back to see them again.
