Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a full time student, Couchsurfing seems the best way for me to get to see the world on a budget. Not only is it the places and sights that I want to explore, but its the new people I want to meet on my adventures which makes couch surfing an amazing opportunity.

Interests

My main interests centre around the sea. I love watersports- I hope to travel to different surf locations all over the globe. Whilst I live in Reading, I have a weekend house near Southampton, on the edge of the New Forest and right on the beach. Here I love to windsurf, paddle board, and can easily get to Bournemouth to surf from here. I often spend my summers travelling to different surf locations in Cornwall or Devon to experience the coast- this is something I'm looking to take worldwide this summer!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to any type of music depending on what mood I'm in! But I'm really into my bands; Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Coasts are a few of the best. I love a good book with a plot twist and I'm definitely a fan of scary movies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share experiences with hosts. I can't wait to meet new people with completely different observations of the world! I have the view that life should not be about living to work, and what is the point in existing if you don't take risks and visit as many places as you can? I would love to reciprocate the opportunity for any host I had stayed with.
