I graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee with a degree in Communications. I love art, music, drawing, and writing. I play guitar, sing, and write songs. And for fun I like to write sci-fi and fantasy stories. I have been working as a Software Analyst for 2.5 years in Austin, TX, and I am a bit of a nerd. I have recently completed Yoga Teacher Training, and now I am one with the universe! (just kidding) I am passionate about authenticity and empathy and I am a certified circling facilitator (I practice authentic relating and holding space for people). I have a degree in Bible but am not religious. I am a free thinker. :) I am a paleo junkie, and I am a foodie. I love hiking and camping and am a bit of a hippy too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel the world! For now I'm just returning traveling from visiting family in the mountains in TN and at the beach in FL. Right now I'm living on the road! But when I settle down I'd like to host some travelers. :)
Writing, Cooking, Good Conversation, Yoga, Dancing, Buddhism, Paleo
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music, and I love seeing live music! I play guitar and sing sometimes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent about 2 weeks at the Blue Tradewinds Hostel in San Francisco. There I met people from all over the world, made friends, talked a man down from killing himself, got caught in the Chinese new year parade, enjoyed the night life, and walked around the Tenderloin (dangerous part of town) like it was no big deal! That was pretty cool. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
