ABOUT ME

I love music and people. Much of me is self-taught. I do have a formal education, but love to teach myself to play musical instruments. I have a small collection of pianos, strings, and wind instruments. I find life fascinating. I enjoy conversation and being outdoors. I also like laughing out loud, anything with melted cheese, campfires, and idea sharing.

PHILOSOPHY

At this chapter of my life, my philosophy is sort of "live and let live" combined with raised consciousness and connecting with a wider variety of people and personal experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a newbee. I am in the process of moving, AND traveling/visiting friends. I like to participate by observing and learning a bit first, them becoming a part of things and sharing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In college, my parents house was sort of a free-for-all for my roommates and friends. They lived in the mountains of montana, and so it was a great retreat from books and class projects. There were several favorite hikes, lots of fresh air, and filling the woodstove and watching a movie and pigging out at the end of the day. Lots of good memories and connections.

Interests

I have emersed myself in many interests. As mentioned, I love music, guitar, vocals, and learning to play instruments. I play piano and compose new age music. I LOVE travel and museums and culture. I love to try new foods and learn ways outside of my experience. I enjoy people. I have done quite a bit of gardening, and landscaping, and home improvement projects. I like independant films (especially foreign) and history.
