My name is Lara.
I am absolutely in love with traveling and getting to know new cultures and people. I feel like we are all more connected in this world, then we think we are and what better way to prove this than to travel around the world and meet up with people who can become friends.
I love all kinds of sport and I am an active person that seeks and often enough finds adventures in the little things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned above I just think that being human is what we all have in common and that really should be the only thought when you meet people from all around the globe.

Beliefs, culture, dancing skills and so on, I am interested in all of it. People are art and I would like to meet all of you crazy, wild, colorful people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled for 6 months and to this day there are stories that I tell about that very precious time. It also made my wanderlust grow enormously and I am saving up some money to go again - this time without a flight ticket back.

Teach, Learn, Share

Look at the little things. The raindrop on the flowers head, the crooked smile on an old face, the knitted socks on the baby's feet. Look at those things. They are everywhere - just got to put your attention to them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would consider myself fun company. It sounds stupid to actually write that down, but it is the truth. I enjoy late night beer conversations about anything and if there is any food supermarket or a market around I think I can manage to cook a descent meal - maybe even one that tastes like home. :)
