Turning lead into beer
I think I'm a nice, easy going person who enjoys traveling and meeting new people. I'm very peacefull and calm (but when it comes to going out, I've energy to spare) and I smile easily.
I have to say I used to be a little shy, but during the past years it didn't stop getting better and better, and I'm know looking forward to traveling the world and making new experiences.
ps : I'll be traveling in Spain until the 14th of July so I won't be able to answer your requests, sorry !
I'm an atheist but I'm very open minded about religion. I believe that since I consider life's short, I might as well do anything I can do get the best of it ! And I truly think that meeting new people and discovering new cultures is the best - and only ? - way to happiness, apart from chocolate.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I attended a couchsurfing meeting in Granada (Spain) and couchsurfed for a night. It was a great experience and I hope I'll have the opportunity to have other experiences.
I'm keen of music (classical and rock mostly, but I don't mind listening to other kinds of music) : I've been playing the cello for about 12 years and the piano for two years. I also enjoy reading and writting little novels, and I started getting into photography couple months ago.
But most of all I like sharing a beer and a laugh with my friends, hanging out in bars and discussing about anything, serious or not. We occasionally go clubbing too.
Música, películas y libros
Films : "Restless", "Melancholia", "The truman show" and "Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind", "American Beauty", for instance.
Music : Rolling Stones, Last Shadow Puppets, Moriarty, but also Brahms, Ravel, Debussy, among many others...
Books : mostly french books. I've read a few foreign literature : "Millenium", "Crime and Punishment" (Dostoïevski. Not sur if the translation is right...), "The castle" (Kafka), "The Desert of the Tartars" (Buzzati, still not sure about the damn translation)
Algo increíble que he hecho
I once went on an ultralight plane trip from Paris to Saint-Louis (Senegal) that lasted for 11 days with couple friends and members of the association that had organized this trip. Once, while I was flying above the mauritanian "Arguin Banc" I saw flamingos taking off and flying with me until I landed. Best memory ever.
I've also made a two days "cruise" in the Whitesundays Islands (Australia) where I dived for the first time and saw the most beautiful beach in the whole world - i guess - : http://nickbowditchtravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/whitehaven1.jpg
I've had other experiences but those two where the most unbelievable...
