About Me

ABOUT ME

I would definitely say I am an idealist. I am an old soul trying to find comfort in a world that makes no sense. I am very curious about the world and its people... I hate rules... Sometimes I think that I will never get old.

Love exploring ancient traditions , currently stuck on Aztec dancing and west African dancing and drumming, exploring Hinduism and Buddhism in Nepal.

Fitness is a big part of my life , eating healthy, staying active.

I'm one of those "lucky" people that gets excited about life, from a great book, the full moon peeking in through my window, a cool-looking insect on a hike. I get easily enthralled by the little things.

PHILOSOPHY

My smile and that "I'm happy" the former being a direct result of the latter, I don't know, but I think I'm on to a scientific discovery, been noticing a very strong correlation between the two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a high-school science teacher. I teach biology and environmental science to the coolest 14-16 year olds you'll ever meet!

I love my job, mainly because my subject allows me to take my students out into the real world, from urban tree care, to protests to stop the XL keystone pipeline, to hiking, and LA river cleanups and appreciation. I'm a very lucky gal I tell ya'! There is nothing more precious than seeing teenagers take action.

Volunteering is important to me, giving back to my community and engaging others in doing the same.
