About Me
Hi there!
I'm Laura, a medical student from Germany and I'm 25 years old.
I enjoy reading a good book, photography, cooking and baking, spending time with friends and getting to know new people!
During 11th grade (by now that's been 10 years ago - how time flies!) I spend a year in Michigan, USA. I lived with a host family, attended the local high school and loved getting to know another culture and way of life. After finishing high school in Germany,
My husband Florian and I got married in April 2016. We met in 2011 at a Christian family camp. First we had a long-distance relationship - I was so glad when this changed and we both moved to Mannheim, which is in the western part of Germany. We both love having people over at our place and being good hosts! I truly enjoy creating an atmosphere where everyone can have an awesome time with delicious food and good conversations.
After finishing my studies we left Germany the end of January 2017 to travel Australia, New Zealand and the United States. When we return in May, I will start working at a hospital and Florian will finish his master's degree in business economics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was so excited when I first heard about couch surfing because I loved the idea of an international community of
Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical music - I play the viola and piano and used to play in a orchestra. But I enjoy pretty much everything else as well!
We love getting to know new people, hear about their stories, way of life
What I Can Share with Hosts
Florian and I are both open-minded, uncomplicated and tidy people who don't need much to be happy!
I could bake my signature chocolate cake for you - everyone who's tasted it loved it! Of course, we can help with the kitchen or do other things you need to be done.
