About Me

Hello! I'm Laura from Portugal! :) I'm finishing my studies in electrical engineering and have a big love for travelling, knowing new people and cultures

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe knowing a country is not only visiting the turistic places staying in a hotel. I would love to have contact with the people who live in the country and know their way to live. Also, I love to travel, but my budgets can't keep up so couchsurfing seems the solution! 😂

Interests

I love DIY's and anything crafty, and also YouTube (even have a YouTube channel), as well as some good parties and
I also love board games or games in general, a beer at sunset or a dip in the sea

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an obcession with Harry Potter, love some cheesy romances from writers like Cecilia Ahern and also love YouTubers like David Dobrick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done Erasmus in Wroclaw, in Poland, which was probably the best six months of my life :) met so many people from different places, tasted so many food from around the would and really had the opportunity to submerse in another culture! While Erasmus, i travelled to Norway, saw the northern lights (best day of my life) and Oslo, as well as travelled around Poland, Czech republic and Germany.
I have done an interrail for a month where I visited 8 cities from Europe, like Amsterdam, Berlin or Budapest, it was the most tight budget trip, where I slept most of the nights in train stations 😂
Before that I did a little trip visiting Croatia, Montenegro and bósnia!
Also stayed in Warsaw for 2 months working from home

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't offer a lot, but I can make you a traditional desert or meal from Portugal (wich is delicious food eheh) and we can teach you a little Portuguese if you would like :)
Other than that we can only offer a big smile and a little of the portuguese culture

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
