About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My best friend and I are embarking on a journey which has always been an idea and now is a reality. We are thrilled for the adventure ahead, the challenges and growth we will face, and the people we will meet. We are on couchsurfing as a way to meet people, perhaps find places to stay along the way, and because why not?! Any help would be greatly appreciated 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: The Head and the Heart, The Oh! Hellos, Of Monsters and Men, Vance Joy, Eric Hutchison, Tristan Prettyman, Begin Again soundtrack 👌, Springsteen by Eric Church, and of course Wild Child by Kenny Chesney.
Movies: don't even get me started 😁 Kat and I are film lovers and could talk your ear off. Latest obsession? Begin Again. Watch the!
Books: Give me a classic novel or a modern boy-meets-girl book and I can always find something inspiring.
I feel like these things can't be typed out... they are too many!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"A mind that is stretched my new experiences can never go back it's it's old dimensions."
A few years ago I signed up for an Alternative Break to go on a trip with strangers from my University. My trip went to Catalina Island (an island off the coast of California, USA) and worked with the conservancy on environmental issues. Little did I know this trip would change my perspective of travel and how us humans impact the world around us. We lived in platform tents with no connection to the world except the people we worked with; we lived simply and appreciated the smallest things like eating a clementine or drinking a cup of tea; we rose with the sun and slept under the stars; and most importantly came as strangers and left as friends. This experience gave me confidence to travel and take risks; it humbled me and taught me to be vulnerable to people and experiences... the only things is they warn you about culture shock, but never about reverse culture shock and ever since I have had a pull to go where I am not.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My positivity and lust for life are a few characteristics people seem to love about me. I can share my tales of adventures, laughs, perhaps a Colorado souvenir, and maybe (just maybe) a journal entry... only if I feel like you would appreciate it :) personal words are hard to share sometimes.
