ABOUT ME

i have lived in melbourne for over five years, though i was born in adelaide and also spent a few months in newcastle. my boyfriend aaron is from canberra but has lived in china, taiwan and fiji as the son of a diplomat.
i am a vegetarian, an agnostic and have an open mind. aaron is an omnivore, an athiest and plays in a doom band.
we both have quite a few tattoos but dont let them put you off! we are not scary!
i love my family, my friends, my cat and meeting new people.
i grew up in an area that was notorious for shark attacks and now i have a fear of deep water. so if you want a swimming partner - keep looking!
i enjoy creepy folk art - particularly day of the dead and religious art, as well as babushka dolls and kitsch americana.

Music, Movies, and Books

music is a huge part of my life. i love hardcore and punk and can take you to some shows if you are similarly interested. i also enjoy old australian rock, acoustic stuff and the occasional pop song - usually for dancing purposes!
i watch a lot of movies and we usually go to the cinema about once a week.
i also love to read, although i dont find enough time to do it as much as i would like.

i live to learn! politics, religion, books, film, travel experience - i am interested in it all! as far as skills i can share.. i am a decent, albeit sometimes lazy, vegetarian/vegan cook. i have a little knowledge of other australian cities to share. and i was once on a tv quiz show - so if you want to learn random facts, im your girl! (although, i should warn you, i lost)
