Saving money for travelling Greece summer 2015
ABOUT ME
Hi!! I am blonde and only 5' 2", so I almost fit the leprechaun image that comes to mind when you think of the Irish :P I'm 20 years old, friendly, honest and bubbly and I am from Northern Ireland although I have moved to England for university.
I love to travel and am hoping to do more of it soon. I have recently stayed in hostels in Budapest and Galway but have never couchsurfed before, though I definitely want to give it a go! I think it would be cool to get to know a local person and to see/hear things which regular tourists may not be able to.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't couchsurfed myself yet, but I hope to soon!
I have hosted one person though :) unfortunately, living in university accommodation makes this very difficult for me so I cannot do it often.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosting a couchsurfer was an amazing experience! I loved the opportunity to share stories, ask questions and meet a new friend. It has left me excited and open to reliving the experience again.
Interests
I am a very chilled person and I would consider myself easy to get along with. I'm not very serious, so I can have a laugh about almost anything. I really want to get out and see the world - so I am trying to do as much that my tiny student loan will allow. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all sorts of music at the minute - though I am currently enjoy listening to The Staves.
I love reading, but I rarely have time for it anymore :( last week I started reading Game of Thrones as I have loved watching the TV series.
Although I watch a lot of different genres, I love fantasy movies! Anything from superheros to aliens to vampires - nothing too scary though, or else I'll never be able to sleep!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was in the Dominican Republic, I went on an organised tour which covered everything from teaching us how to ground coffee, to trekking through wilderness, to climbing mountains, to jumping off waterfalls.
It was especially funny because my grandmother was with me and she can't swim - so she screamed the whole time and was eventually referred to as 'Chicken Mama' by the end of the day!!
