As a grad student pursuing a doctorate in optometry, I spend most of my free time studying. Beyond that, I enjoy reading, cooking, photography, traveling, beer and wine, food, fashion, chocolate, science, heated genetic engineering debates, conversations about current events, intelligence, antique stores, and good company.

I've seen so many amazing musicians play some breathtaking shows ... too many to even list, but I can try.. Daft Punk, the Civil Wars, Andrew Bird, Mumford and Sons, Alison Krause, the Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Florence and the Machine, Regina Spector, Gogol Bordello, just to name a few :)

I've seen Mexico, Amsterdam, Paris, and London. I've camped on an island in January. I've helped rebuild homes for tornado victims.

I am really terrible at filtering unnecessary information so I will probably share more than you ever needed to know! I am a strong advocate for life long learning and will accept any knowledge anyone that I meet feels that I need to know!
