Hi! I'm a 22-yr old French girl who loves travelling. I am currently studying for a master's degree in biotechnology and management in Mississauga, close to Toronto, Canada. One of my favorite things to do in life is to get to know people with different backgrounds than me to learn/try new things every day.

I'm couchsurfing because discovering new areas is more fun when you are with locals who know all the good places to go! Oh and to be perfectly honest, I'm also a student and it helps alleviate the cost of hostels/hotels.

Interessi

First and foremost, getting out of my comfort zone and discovering new activities/cultures/people.
And in no particular order: athletics, SCUBA diving, skiing/snowboarding, literature, piano, photography, movies, hiking, learning new languages, music, partying, travelling, molecular neurobiology, and singing (which I do poorly).

Musica, film e libri

Music: I periodically get into different genres (read: all of them), with the exception of death metal and free jazz (regular metal and jazz are ok though).
Movies: Could watch them all day! Especially the Fincher ones.
Books: I am currently working my way through A Song of Ice and Fire. It's a long enterprise.

Teach: I can help with French, and Spanish (unless you're better than me, then cf. "Learn"). Ask me about anything related to neurobiology and I will go on for hours (weather you're a beginner or a pro in that domain). I can also supervise your kid's math assignment, but only if it's a necessity.
Learn: Spanish (I'm intermediate). I would love to learn about so many things; astronomy, flying a plane, going to bed early, baking, correct diets for athletes, fishing, playing the guitar....
Share: Laughs, jokes, beers.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

Most importantly, discovering the place you live with you, and sharing what makes it unique in your eyes. I would love to share stories of past travels, too. Oh and I have great communication skills and enjoy talking about virtually anything.
