About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding joy and happiness in even the tiniest pieces of whatever.

ABOUT ME

Craving simplicity, always stumbling upon the opposite. Utterly in love with life, yet never satisfied.
I can't sing at all but am always the loudest at karaoke nights (at least those who have to bear my tryings can laugh about me having fun).
I am easy-going and openminded (otherwise couchsurfing wouldn't be the right platform for me, right?! :))

PHILOSOPHY

"Yesterday's weirdness is tomorrow's reason why."
- H.S. Thompson
he was right!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hate cooking but can bake a very decent apple tarte! Anyone willing to get the recipe? You're welcome! :)
Besides that, I believe in the power of cultural exchanges, experiences and friendships. There's a proverb saying "The world is a book and he who does not travel read nothing but the first page". It's so true.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newbie! :)

Interests

My passions: literature, writing, photography, traveling, changes (I really fear being stuck in a rut), music, dancing, everything new- life's constant learning!

Music, Movies, and Books

way too many to list them here... but the all-time-lovelies are:
book: Playing With The Grown-Ups, Sophie Dahl
movies: Berlin Calling, Factory Girl, A Bout De Souffle
music: basically anything that's alternative/indie... and for sure decent electro for dancing! (I'm crappy at music-related decisions... once I'm hooked by a song or band or musician, I'm happy. I'm not that picky here [music lovers out there, please don't hate me now! =)])

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The "Sumida Hanabi" back in july 2009 in Tokyo... the biggest firework in Japan on the Sumida river. It was breathtaking.
