Slowing down - getting used to the taste of "simple life"
I like getting to know other people and other cultures, making almost all kind of experiences, getting to know my limits, what life is all about. Having studied 7 months at Strasbourg and worked 3 months in Southern France, I've totally fallen in love with French culture and language.
Have trust in what you feel, things will arrive at the right time as long as you keep in touch with your intuition
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been member of "Hospitality Club" but havn't been too active. In November 2006, my flat mate told me about this page and didn't stop swarming. We have hosted someone and in february I had three splendid weeks in Paris due to the lively French CS-network.
I'm very interested in Asian culture, spirituality in general, so I've become yoga teacher and try to make some efforts in meditating. Since my stay in France I've become even more interested in culinary matters: wine, cheese, trying out weird recipes...reading graphic novels...
What else? I've found improvisational theatre a really inspiring way of self-developpment. And since my childhood I brim over with enthusiasm for dogs. Generally, I need nature around me sometimes to stock up on my energy.
Having finished my studies in German litterature, I was quite lucky to immediately find a wonderful working place: an open-minded, undogmatic publisher with an interesting range of enhancing books, covering buddhist whisdom, philosophy, shamanism, meditation, yoga, psychology, ecology, philosophy etc.
I'm happy to fulfill a dream soon as I am on my way becoming a psychologist, thinking of how to connect that with my interest in ecology, community development and permaculture...
